Mediathon, the annual cultural college festival of St Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women was held on 21st and 22nd January 2022 on a digital platform. The events on both the days were live streamed on St Pauls Youtube Channel.
Mediathon 2022 had over 300 participants and 20 colleges taking part in it. The first day started off with the Inaugural ceremony and lighting of the lamp with our management, Chief Guest- Mr Daksh Sethi and college representative Nafisa Mumuwalla. After the lighting of the lamp, we had our Director, Father Plavendran say a few words, followed by our assistant director Father Renold Pascal and then our chief Guest Mr. Daksh Sethi. After the inaugural session we had the very first event, Shutter Up which was a Photography event judged by Brandon Pinto , followed by Spill the Ink – Poetry event judged by Mitra Vishwesh, Prime time Debate judged by Steve D’Souza, The Voice of Tomorrow – Singing event judged by Febronia Fernandes and Day 1 ended with Virtual Wars – BGMI event hosted and judged by Jemima Gonzalves.
Day 2 started off with, Shark Tank judged by Pooja Gupta and Ajmal Shaikh, followed by Navrasa – Mono acting event judged by Deepak Walankar, Groove and Go – Dancing event judged by Sansom Lobo , Future Ready – Pageant judged by Navneet Malik & Maria Ferreira.
We had the closing ceremony in which we announced our winners;
Best College – K.J Somaiya (Contingent Name: Pandora)
1st Runner up – Elphinstone College (Contingent Name: Ares)
Best PR College – Smt. Chandibai Himathmal Mansukhani College
Best PR CL – Aditi Shelar, K.J Somaiya (Contingent Name: Pandora)
Best ACL – BHAGYASHREE Kriti College (Contingent Name: APHRODITE)
Best CL – VIVEK SINGH Smt. Chandibai Himathmal Mansukhani College (Contingent Name: ZEUS)
