Commfest

Think you know all there is to know about Media ? Are you inquisitive in finding out the changing trends and patterns and are confident of walking away with the trophy ? For the edition in 2019, COMMFEST 2K19 presented M-Quizitive, an intercollegiate quiz competition where the best of the lot did win!.

CommFest is an annual day long seminar-style Communication Festival for youth, mainly students of media. It is organized by our media focused academic institution and planned by a committee comprising students, faculty, industry professionals and a facilitation team of volunteers who liaise with the sponsors, partners and resource persons. Leadig media stalwarts like Gautam Benegal, Govindraj Ethiraj, Deepa Bhatia, Suraja Kishore and Srishti Gairola share insights with students and program attendees.

Mediathon

Mediathon is a college festival open to all looking for a stage. The theme of our fest Mediathon 2020 is #freedomforartists. It is an intercollegiate/UNDER 25 fest, open to all performers. We believe artists deserve a voice, & we believe each individual is an artist;

We invite you to come find your voice. Created by students of St Pauls Institute of Communication Education (SPICE) and co-powered by St Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women, the festival is currently in it’s 4th year. The tagline “Youth fueled dynamism” is so because we at Mediathon believe in the optimism and dynamism of youth and their quest for knowledge and individuality.

Tata Literature Fest

Tata Literature Live!, popular amongst Mumbaikars as the Tata Lit Fest, is organised annually in November. This well-organised event usually conducted venues at popular venues such as NCPA and Prithvi Theatre, and across spaces in different parts of Mumbai, this time around, included St Pauls Institute of Communication Education, our very own college as a partner hub.

 

SPICE as the college is known amongst the student community was the proudly named the Academic Partner for the 9th and 10theditio of the Lit Fest.

Celebrate Bandra

Celebrate Bandra aims to bring people together through world-class entertainment that is free of cost and our institute was proud to be associated with them.

Eye Camp

As a health care initiative, St Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women, has organized a free eye check-up/screening camp for all students of the institute.

 

With an aim to educate students and increase eye care awareness to aid healthy and disease free vision for all, doctors and counselors from Doctor Eye Institute will be available at this eye screening camp to guide students regarding any eye related query.

Daan Utsav- Blood

Donation Drive

Daan Utsav, our institute decided to partner with Holy Family Hospital and organized a blood donation drive in the early hours of October 3, 2018. A similar camp was conducted on December 9, 2019 where students and staff participated in large numbers.

Intercollegiate Festivals

 

Intercollegiate events are a high point for our institution. There are numerous networking and competitive events that are organized by several student’s associations and clubs of the college. Departments also periodically hold intercollegiate programmes for teachers and as well as students
