The institute organized a cleanliness drive for its students on 1st October 22’ in honour of Gandhi Jayanthi and his principles on cleanliness.
The students and the teachers walked to Bandra Talao, which is 2km away from the institute. The students were provided with caps with logo of college, gloves, and masks. They were divided in 3 groups; each group was assigned an area of the place to clean. Each group was provided brooms, garbage bags and dust collectors.
The groups were supervised by faculty and student council. The students did a diligent job of cleaning the whole place in record time of 2 hours. The children were applauded for their hard work and were given refreshments.
The event ended with taking group pictures, celebrating the principles of cleanliness and re-learning the importance of it.
