The BAMMC Course was introduced by the University of Mumbai after revamping the popular course Bachelor of Mass Media or BMM. WHAT IS B.A.M.M.C ?

BAMMC full form is  Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication. It is one of the most sought-after courses in Mass Media after you complete your 12th standard.

It is a 3-year degree course that teaches you various mediums of communication such as print media, television or broadcast media, radio and internet, however, it goes a step further and trains you in advertising & concepts of public relations as well.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Eligibility criteria vary from institute to institute but the general requirements are as follows:

  1. Applicants need to have cleared their 12thclass i.e. 10+2 level of education in any stream.
  2. You will also have to give an entrance test and a personal interview.
  3. The percentage required to apply for this course is a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

The duration of this degree is 3 years, divided into 6 semesters.

Since the two focal points in this course are Advertising and Journalism, you will have to choose between either one of the two electives to specialize in during your 5th semester.
