St Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women aims at providing excellence in media education. Located in the queen of the suburbs of Mumbai, Bandra, since its inception in 2018, the college has been focusing on the all-round development of women students. The State-of-the-art facilities provided in the campus adds additional opportunities for students to enhance media skills. In our college, we offer students a number of hands on experience related to media studies as they are given practical knowledge of the course.
After revising the BMM syllabus in 2017 by the University of Mumbai, a number of practical courses were introduced for the students. In this way, students are given ample opportunities to know more about the latest technologies like mobile devices and the software update. The current syllabus also introduces a number of elective courses so that students can choose a course suitable for them. Another added feature of the current course of BAMMC is that it is industry friendly. A course like Multimedia and Mass Communication aims at providing students ample opportunities in acquiring jobs.
Added to the new features of the BAMMC course, our college also acquired approval from Mumbai University six certificate courses in Legal Journalism, Sound Engineering, Documentary Film Making, Radio Jockeying, Business English Skills, Sound and Film Editing. These add on courses definitely will strengthen the knowledge of the students in media and communication. We believe that these courses will help get jobs for the students.
Plenty of employment opportunities are available in the media related field. Press, Television, Digital Media, Social media network are giving a number of jobs for the students of media and mass communication. Our students are capable of handling media related employment as they are trained by the committed faculty members and in the state of the art studios coupled with practical training.
We are confident that our talented students will render good service in your institutions and companies.
