Principal, St Pauls College For Women

From the Desk of the Principal

St Pauls College, Bandra, Mumbai, affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by the Government of Maharashtra, is one among the many educational endeavors of the Society of St. Paul, an international religious society established on August 20, 1914, in Alba, Italy by Blessed James Alberione.

All of our students’ academic, cultural, and personal growth needs, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, leadership, and holistic learning, are supported by our world-class infrastructure. The campus features spacious, air-conditioned classrooms and contemporary facilities such as a Broadcast Studio, Podcast Studio, professional Sound Recording Studio, News Room, two Multimedia Labs for graphics and animation, video conferencing facilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, a well-stocked library, conference room, seminar hall, and canteen, all designed to provide an environment where learning truly thrives.

Through internships at reputable companies, students are given the opportunity to gain real-world experience in order to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

SPICE (St Pauls Institute of Communication Education), which focuses solely on media studies, is also located on the same campus. We conduct intensive one-year post-graduate Advanced Diploma courses in Advertising & Marketing, Public Relations and IMC, Journalism and Digital Media, and Professional Filmmaking. Short-term certificate courses are also offered in Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Graphic Design, and University of Mumbai–affiliated programs such as Business English Skills, Documentary Film Making (CDFM), Legal Journalism, Radio Jockeying (CRJ), Sound and Film Editing, and a Diploma in Sound Engineering.

I consider it a great privilege to be at St Pauls and to be entrusted with the stewardship of this fledgling institution which has all the vim and vigour of a youthful athlete raring to go. Yes, we have mountains to climb and streams to ford, but as a team we can achieve the purpose to which each of us has been called, both as individuals and as a family.

Our faculty and support team are not just educators and administrators, but mentors, guides, and stewards of a shared vision. We are committed to nurturing an environment of excellence, integrity, and care, one that protects the planet, uplifts the community, and inspires our students to grow as responsible global citizens. Together, we stand as protectors of knowledge, guardians of values, and companions on the journey of lifelong learning.
