And the winner is….
How will you feel when your name is announced after these four magical words?

We hope you can imagine how we at St Pauls Institute of Communication Education for Women felt, on receiving two awards at the National Conference – conducted on Saturday, 7th August 2021 – organized by the Department of Communication and Journalism, University of Mumbai. The Conference reviewed papers and presentations on ‘Reformations in Media through the Lens of Social Justice’.

The session commenced with an inaugural address by the DG- IIMC, Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, Ministry of I & B, and Dr. Ganesh Devy, the eminent Padmashree Awardee and Literary Critic, delivered the keynote address.Dr. Sunder Rajdeep, Head- Dept. of Communication and Journalism officiated as the Conference Convenor.

Our College Principal, Fr (Dr) Plavendran, SSP presented a paper on -Teaching Media Environment in a Digital Age: How “Thermostatic” view on education can enhance social justice, which was ranked as the third best presentation,and Ms. Joulyn Kenny, the B.A.M.M.C academic coordinator was awarded the second place for her research paper presentation on the – Use of Media Forensic Tools in assisting social justice. An achievement, indeed!

The contenders were outstanding in their field so we are deeply honored on receiving these awards and recognition.

We congratulate the winners and like to thank everyone involved – the management team, staff members, faculty, and the jury members and judges who did an amazing job of choosing from such exceptional presentations.
